Camp, swimming lessons, and more summer fun

Aly spent a week at Beaver Brook for the third year with Ms. Rosemary.  She had a great week and is excited about their fort building camp next year.  Here she is demonstrating some yoga poses from the week.

At Chunky's to have some lunch and see a movie.  Evan, Katy and Jack

The Gilmore's had friends visiting from Sweden.  We had an opportunity to spend a day with them all.  We started with blueberry picking, lunch and visiting with the goats.  

Then on to a brewery tour lead by Daddy.  Phillip, David, Aidan, Tuva, Katy, Aly, Owen, and Evan

We finished the day with ice cream and then dinner and playtime at our house.  The kids had a blast and even learned a couple Swedish words.  We enjoyed meeting Petra and Carl and as always spending time with friends.  

Katy and Evan had swimming lessons this summer at Baboosic Lake.  The lessons were four days a week for two weeks.  The first week was while Aly was at camp and then she joined us for the second week.  The kids had so much fun and both got a lot more comfortable in the water.  Katy started swimming under water and Evan put his face in the water.  They loved the extra playtime we had at the lake after swim lessons!  

On the last day, Katy's class went out to the floating dock.

Evan is in the middle in red.  He's was the little guy in class but the instructors were great with making it work for him.

The library held a Big Truck day at a local park.  We met Daniel and Jack there as well.  Aly was a little old for the event but was a good sport.  They all enjoyed the playground after the event.  And what's not to love about ice cream for lunch with friends after that!
