Easter in NY

This is the only picture from Easter in NH.  There was a local Easter egg hunt.  We knew that the hunt started at 11 am sharp and thought we had left with plenty of time.  But we hadn't anticipated the line of traffic to get into the park and the lack of parking.  With that said, I took the girls and hurried while Greg stayed behind to get Evan in the stroller.  But that meant that Katy had to come with Aly to the 5 and 6 year old hunt.  We got there with 90 seconds to spare.  Another 120 seconds and the whole thing was over.  The eggs were spread over a field and on "Go!" the kids ran to gather them up.  Aly got 6 eggs.  I played the part of Momma bear and shielded an egg so that Katy was able to get one! The picture below is post hunt.  I think they were still a little unsure of what had just happened!  Katy was a good sport and Aly won a prize that added some excitement for her.  But it was nice to have an egg hunt on Easter that was a little more fulfilling.

The Wanderer.  As soon as we went outside he headed across the yard and up the street (with Daddy trailing close behind).

Bubbles with Grandma

Yeah, I can make some bubbles.

Katy showing Nana her dolls.  (Too much tilt... sorry!)

Evan on the shoulders always starts well...
Evan loves it!

But somewhere along the way he starts to get grabby

And there it is... time to come down!  The version with me is pulling my hair.

And snuggling with Evan

Just classic!

Aly's birthday was a couple days before Easter.  She took cookies to celebrate at school and we went out to dinner at the restaurant of her choice.  Grandma had cupcakes.  And her party was a week after Easter.  Stay tuned for a party post.
