Visiting Granddad and Betty

Last weekend, my mom and I took the girls to FL to see Granddad and Betty. Katy had yet to meet them and it had been awhile since Aly had seen them. We arrived on Betty's birthday so here's a picture of our celebration.

We went to the pool a couple days. The wading pool was the perfect place for us. Aly had some unofficial swimming lessons with Grandmom. Her interest in swimming continues and we just signed up for another session of swimming. Katy was able to walk around (with a hand) on her own. She was able to get in and out of the pool by herself which meant she spent a lot of time doing that.

I forgot swim diapers so Katy was bottom heavy. The picture doesn't quite capture how funny she looked walking but you get the idea. There's a wild animal park near Granddad and Betty's. So we checked that out one morning. The highlight for the girls were the manatees. There is an underwater observatory where we got great views of the manatees. Feeding time was approaching so they were beginning to gather. The video below is of the girls excitedly watching them.
