Hotel Days

We stayed in the Staybridge Inn and Suites by the airport for 5 and half weeks.  We arrived the evening before school started.  We had dinner at Red Robin which was walking distance from the hotel.  The hotel was 30 minutes from the kids school.  There was an outdoor pool open for a couple weeks and then we were able to use an indoor pool next door.
We played a lot of Sleeping Queens

Katy was excited to receive her green band from swimming.  Due to our move and several missed attempts to do her final test, she had missed her final test in this level.  Coach Caron decided that she had demonstrated her skills in her practice session, had earned her green band, and sent it in the mail.

I believe this happened on our last night.  The fire alarm went off during dinner.  Fortunately, they were dressed for the pool so we headed across the street.

They were still there when we finished so Katy posed for a picture.  It was just a false alarm but they had to go to every room to clear the building to reopen,

After dinner entertainment.  The restaurant served dinner Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening.  We loved to eat out in the courtyard and the kids loved to put on shows.

Swimming inside at the Hilton.
And outside at the Staybridge.  Katy had her first stitches after jumping int o too close one evening.  Fortunately, she only needed one stitch.
