We have had a beautiful fall! And we have been enjoying lots of outside time. The kids have been having a blast just hanging out in our neighborhood. But here's a few pictures from some away from home activities.
 |
| We went apple picking this year at a small orchard in Merrimack. It makes for a nice quick outing but without having to commit a half a day. This day they had a special on our favorite, Honey crisp. So we picked 20 pounds and enjoyed every ounce! |

| Since we only picked Honey crisp that day, I decided to take Evan another (school) day to pick some other varieties. We got there and he was out cold at 8:45 am! (It's been a transition to no nap!) So home we went where he snoozed in the car for awhile before heading back. |
 |
| He was a great picking partner and we even saw a flock of wild turkeys on our walk out to the orchard. We have seen them often enough around our neighborhood or behind the house (we live near Turkey Hill Road). But I had never seen them so close. Evan was captivated! Along with our apples, we got some cider. |

One weekend, we went with another family to a local farm that had lots of fall activities. This corn maze was a very manageable size for the kids. There was a center and about 8 branches.
