Family Day in Boston

Greg took a vacation day on a Wednesday and we headed to Boston for the day.  We spent a good part of our day at the Children's Museum.  After a day of play, we met Sharon and Amy and walked through Boston and Faneuil Hall.  We headed to the North End where Jonathan met us for pizza followed by gelato and Italian pastries.

Katy is toward the top of the picture in a pink shirt and black skirt.  She loved this 3+ story climbing structure.  She climbed up and down numerous times.

Aly and Evan are in the middle of the picture.
Aly and Evan were both interested but neither wanted to climb to the top. But by the end of our time there, Evan followed Katy to the top and then wouldn't/couldn't come down.  No matter how much persuasion, he wouldn't come down.  Katy went up a couple times to try to get him to come down.  We weren't sure if he was scared or ornery (this happens more often when he's tired).  Finally, Aly decided to go up.  She had been too nervous to go the whole way up before so it was a big deal.  She went to the top where he was and he gave her a giant and long hug.  And then she helped him the whole way day.
