Thankgsiving

Grandmom and Granddad were up for Thanksgiving this year. We were also joined by the Hesse's for our feast. The first pictures are in the morning while the turkey cooked.

Our 25 lb bird! We got our turkey this year from the farmer who does our CSA. Apparently, he had planned to have to batches of turkey's this year with the first batch being apart of the meat CSA ealier in the season. But there was a turkey chick shortage due the all the heat this summer so he had to hold the first batch off until Thanksgiving. That meant that our 25 lb turkey was one of the smaller birds. He had a tom that was 40 lbs!
