Racing Day

I did my first 5k of the season last weekend with some of my moms group friends. My goal was to beat my best time from the fall and I succeeded.

They had a kid's race so Aly did her first race. She came into our bedroom early that morning in her 'racing clothes' and talked about little else until the race. She had lots of fun.

Greg volunteered to watch two other kids while our friend raced (and their Dad was busy). I wasn't surprised that he was willing to help out but his nonchalance about watching 4 kids did surprise me. He was busy but they all did well ;)
